Delivery Associate

Deliver Amazon packages in a company-provided van across Durham and the Triangle area. This is active, hands-on delivery work with paid training, team support, and clear route expectations.

Role Overview

The Delivery Associate is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of Amazon packages to residential, apartment, and business addresses throughout the Triangle area. This role operates a company-provided delivery van and follows GPS-guided routes, representing Catbyrd Seat Logistics professionally while delivering packages on assigned routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a company delivery van throughout an assigned route.
  • Deliver packages to homes, apartments, and businesses with speed and accuracy.
  • Follow GPS-guided routes using a company-provided Android device.
  • Load and unload packages while keeping packages sorted and handled properly.
  • Maintain delivery pace and meet daily route completion targets.
  • Communicate with dispatch and team members throughout the shift.
  • Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
  • Follow traffic laws, delivery procedures, and company safety standards.
  • Provide professional, courteous service to customers.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be comfortable using Android devices and navigation apps.
  • Must be available to work at least one weekend day.
Schedule, Physical Work, and Benefits

Schedule

  • Shifts are typically 10 hours per day.
  • Typical shift time: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM.
  • Full-time: 4 days per week.
  • Part-time: 1–3 days per week.
  • Flexible scheduling may be available.

Physical Work

  • Lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb in and out of a delivery van repeatedly.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
